2012 Cherokee Mission Trip in Oklahoma

Truly a blessing to come home after 1.5 years and head straight into intense missions with my church and family :)

It was just wonderfully refreshing to be reminded of some simple truths (like, no matter who you are, no matter what you feel and no matter what happens, Trust God!) and also of the gospel:

The black bead represents sin - we’ve all done things we regret and feel shame.
The red bead is Jesus’ blood - He died for you, so that you can be cleansed from your sins.
The white represents purity - once you’ve received Jesus, you are made pure and clean.
The yellow is heaven - where there is no hurt or pain, a wonderful place that Jesus has prepared for you.
The green bead is growth - you have to plug into church and the Bible, so you can continue to grow in your relationship with God.

When practicing explaining the evangelism bracelet with one another, I couldn’t help but tear up and choke a bit. Amazing how powerful this love story is, no matter how many times I hear it. <3
